Hades’ phone rings and Persephone asks him who Minthe is. Hades briefly thinks of Minthe as she asks, and tells her that she is just a nymph that he associates with. He sends her to voicemail, upsetting Minthe who curses him as she leaves a voicemail.

“Come on...Do I look like a scoundrel to you?”

Hades

Persephone asks if Minthe is his lover, and then trails off, saying that he and his brothers are known for their sordid affairs. Hades thinks that even though his brothers aren’t there, they are already running things for him, at the same time Persephone internally curses herself for having no filter. Hades flirtatiously asks if he looks like a scoundrel to her, and Persephone declares him at least 30% scoundrel.

As he finishes making her coffee, she asks him how she got in his house, as her memories are a bit fuzzy. Hades reluctantly explains that she was in his car, dead to the world. Persephone apologizes for putting up with her. Hades thinks that he would pay her a salary to barge on every single aspect of his life.

She leans on the counter and asks Hades to give her a hand, letting the coat drop from her shoulders. Flustered, Hades warns her he has noisy neighbors, but he apparently misinterprets her as she asks why would his neighbors mind him helping her with her hair. Hades is seen hastily redoing his buttons.

“I have enough character for multiple lifetimes.”

Hades

Hades gently helps her with her hair, asking her what made her lose control. Persephone explains that lately, she’s been having trouble with her powers.

They formally introduce themselves to each other and exchange business cards — hers still has her old name and are handmade — and Hades teases her. They wound up in an embrace, Hades pulling her close. Embarrassed, they step back from each other.

Persephone asks why she was put in Hades’ car and thinks that she must’ve done something to make Eros angry. Hades explains she didn’t do anything wrong and that it was his fault. He mumbles what he said about her, claiming she puts Aphrodite to shame.
