Episode 10: Disembark
Hades is preparing to drive Persephone back to Olympus, and as they enter the garage, Persephone teases him about the number of cars he has. She asks if she can drive one, which he vehemently denies, since he never lets anyone drive his cars. However, he very quickly relents, and once behind the wheel, it is clear that Persephone is not a good driver.
“I don’t want that shitty-little-Sun-god in my neck of the woods.” -Hades, Ep. 10
They flirt as they drive through the Underworld, and Hades asks her what she thinks of his realm. She says she likes the neon lights but wonders why it is night all the time. Hades responds that he doesn’t want “that shitty-little-sun-god in my neck of the woods,” referring to Apollo (God of the Sun, and Artemis’ twin brother). Hades warns that when she meets him, she should prepare to be annoyed.
When they park at her house, Persephone leans toward him just as Artemis screams for her to get out of “this pervert’s” car. Watching her walk away, Hades yells out her other name, Kore, to flirt with her one last time. She turns and flirts back, pulling away from Artemis to tell him his scoundrel percentage is down to 20%.
