Hera insists that something must be done about Apollo to which Persephone grows visibly upset, asking Hera to leave. Hera softens and guesses that Apollo must have something on her. She promises to be discreet and that she may seem like a drunk and a joke but she could “surprise” her.
Your Majesty, if you’re a joke, what hope do the rest of us have?
Persephone
Persephone reveals that Apollo sent blackmail photos to her.
When Hera inquires about the phone, Persephone shares that it’s probably still at the motel. Hera insists that she will take care of it and that even if the phone was destroyed, it doesn’t mean the photos are gone.
Persephone asks if Hera thinks she’s a coward and says she feels split into a million pieces. Hera responds that she doesn’t think that and when she’s ready, Hera will back her up.
Returning to Hades, she finds he’s ordered a lot of take out food for them. She apologizes and grows upset because she lost her appetite.
He encourages her that leftovers taste better the next day, that she’s had an extremely stressful day, and to get her coat because he’s taking her somewhere to let of some steam.
