Episode 147: Pariah

Editor: Bre Boswell
Released: 7 March 2021

Artemis rushes to Apollo and begins yelling at him about Persephone’s phone call where she said he makes her miserable and she hates him. Eros and Ampelus scoot behind some columns and try to listen in but can’t seem to hear much.

As Apollo tries misdirecting and calming Artemis, a new voice joins in, calling her name. It’s their mother, the titaness Leto. Eros explains how she and Hera had a falling out (date unknown) and he hasn’t seen her for decades because she’s a social pariah.

Leto has a cool demeanor, face obscured by a veil, and urges Artemis to calm down. Instead, Artemis leaves without warning.

“Honestly, Artemis, who are you going to believe? Your family? Or some goddess you’ve just met?”

Leto

Leto then turns to Apollo, asking how he is “smoothing things over with my future daughter-in-law.” He vaguely answers that he tried a few things, but she’s angry with him and spending her time with Hades. Leto resolves to make a trip to the Underworld.
