How long have you been doing cosplay? What first got you interested?

So I’ve been only been cosplaying for a couple of years. I have cosplayed here and there for fun before that but it was never with the intent to actually cater to an audience. Recently due to COVID-19, my cosplay has evolved into a more tutorial/ make up inspired kind of path and I’m honestly not mad. I like my little niche.

Who is your favorite Lore Olympus character to cosplay?

Ah! This is hard as I want to literally cosplay them all, but if I had to choose it would probably be the queen herself, Hera. She has her own struggles within and outside of her marriage and I love how real she is. Don’t forget her attitude 😎

Tell us your Lore Olympus story. What got you into Lore Olympus? What made you stay?

Honestly, I was just scrolling instagram explore one day when I saw some amazing cosplay of someone who was ALL PINK and of course I had to click on it! Turns out it was from a webcomic…and, yeah the rest is history.

What is the most memorable cosplay you did (doesn’t have to be Lore Olympus) and why?

One of my personal favorite LO cosplay is Minthe. The red is a good color on me, haha. Outside of LO it would probably be Tomie by Junjie Ito.

What other fandoms are you in? What’s special about the Lore Olympus fandom?

Ever since I got into WEBTOON, I’ve been enjoying many comics and novels. Another favorite of mine is WhiteBlood (Unholy Blood). I can’t wait to cosplay Hayan! What’s unique about the LO fandoms is that it’s just so versatile. There are so many personalities and characters that you could cosplay. It has this magical touch to it.

If you could body snatch one LO character for a day, who would it be?

Daphne! She has that amazing body-ody-ody-ody on her!

What does cosplay mean to you?

This type of art form - being yourself and then suddenly embodying someone else in the same breath - has a touch of magic to it. It’s kinda like drag! I love it!

Any advice for a new cosplayer out there?

I know you might have heard this a lot but it’s true, just have fun doing whatever you do. Don’t take it too seriously. We’ve all started from somewhere.

Just for fun: Who did you get on the Hades’ dog character quiz?

BIG JOHN!

I love dog daddy Hades!
