There are several cultures where forehead touch greetings are common. The Disney movie Moana is based on Polynesian culture, and the way Moana connects with the giant goddess Te Fiti at the end is very reminiscent of the way Hades connected with his titan mother as a child. This forehead-to-forehead greeting is called hongi among the Maori and honi among Hawaiians. It is also practiced in the Tibetan and Bedouin cultures.
