Artemis has broken into Hades’ house, bringing Eros and Ampelus along with her. She is frantic, and her body is burning, as she demands to know what Hades has done with Persephone. Artemis says that Hades has clearly brainwashed Persephone and made her a part of a sex cult. Hades tells Artemis that Persephone was at his home earlier for brunch, but then left to run errands. Artemis refuses to believe him, and runs throughout his house screaming for Persephone.

“Persephone, I’m here to save you from this place of debauchery!”

Dejected and unable to find her, Artemis joins Eros, Ampelus, and Hades at his table for tea, and Artemis fills Hades in on what is going on. Hades says that he is worried for Persephone, and that she had told him that she wasn’t doing very well. Artemis is surprised to learn this, as she assumed Persephone was always happy, and realizes that she failed Persephone.

Hades tells the others that he will search the Underworld for her, and Eros, Artemis, and Ampelus will look for Persephone in Olympus and the Mortal Realm.
