Hephaestus
Hades proudly says that Hephaestus is the brains behind the technology in the Underworld.
Ares interrupts them and blithely says why not just throw him a parade.
Hephaestus shows Hades his latest project regarding Aetna, an AI-based virtual assistant, when he sees Persephone in the hallway talking to Megaera. Hades offers to introduce them. Persephone introduces herself as a felon. Hephaestus awkwardly comments that she looks happy, to which Persephone replies that she is.

Meanwhile, Apollo asks Leto if she’s seen his sister. Leto tells Apollo that she visited Persephone and that it’s clear that Persephone doesn’t like Apollo. She says that either Apollo is delusional or that he lied to her about the state of their relationship. She also says that it’s clear Persephone is in love with Hades.
Leto persuades Apollo towards their plans regarding Persephone, and she says their best bet is to receive her “as a gift” from Zeus. She pulls Apollo towards a room where she’s keeping Demeter, who’s in her bird form, in a cage. She says hopefully, this will help him get back into Zeus’ good graces.
