“Well, it would seem Eros has a bit more of his father’s spirit than we thought.”
Zeus
The episode begins with a brief flashback of Eros flying away from Psyche as she chases him. The next scene begins with Thanatos rushing into Hades’ office announcing a spike in souls and that there is “mayhem on the beach.” Hades calls Zeus. He and Thetis pull up a camera feed of the mortal realm and see Eros with fully red eyes, shooting arrows. Zeus instructs Hermes to stop the massacre and bring Eros back.
Hermes tries to talk sense into Eros, but gets punched in the face. He resorts to smacking Eros over the head with his golden caduceus/staff.
Aphrodite arrives at Zeus’ office building, demanding to see her son. She finds him with ice on his head in the waiting room, apologizing that he didn’t know what came over him. They move into Zeus’ office and learn that Eros killed 300 people without a permit. Aphrodite says Apollo and Artemis killed people in a similar manner and weren't punished, accusing Zeus of playing favorites. Zeus counters that he is also hiding a mortal in the city, unpermitted (Psyche) and punched Hermes, so must be punished. Aphrodite brightens and suggests they come to a different “agreement,” insisting Eros go wait in the car. An evening thunderstorm rains down overhead as Aphrodite walks barefoot to the car. She mentions Prometheus’ punishment and asks where Psyche is hiding.
The Dread Queen has arrived, and Kronos is not prepared.
