Our Favorite Eros & Persephone Friendship Moments
By Cara
If there’s one thing I’ll always be sure of about Eros and Persephone in Lore Olympus, it’s that they are the ultimate friendship goals. I decided to gather my favorite scenes from one of my favorite character dynamic because let’s face it, we all need a friend like the god of love.
Without further ado, here are my top favorite Eros and Persephone friendship moments.
Friends are for platonic cuddles and using them as a couch cushion
2. When Eros took Persephone for an ultimate Olympus make over
and something from the bonus scenes — when he made her swear to no longer buy three-pack underwear.
3. When Persephone confided in him about her trauma, and when he assured her and told her that consent doesn’t work that way.
4. When he let Persephone stay over at his house and told her it’s okay to get help and that she needs to take care of her mental health, too.
This is easily one of my top five moments in all of Lore Olympus. Persephone hasn’t been sleeping well (or on her bed!) since her trauma happened, and when she stayed over at Eros’s place, she was able to sleep fully and properly after a long time.
5. When Eros sensed Persephone’s feelings and came in rushing, all giddy and excited with a glass of wine.
A consolation to this moment is when Eros went — “Get the fuck out! That river nymph?” after Persephone confided that Hades “belonged to someone else.” I mean — we all have that one friend who would just say the same thing about our significant other’s ex. Right?
6. F is for Friends Who Fly Together
7. When Persephone told Eros that she ‘hooked up’ with his dad (and Eros raised his eyebrow and went, “You and I have very different definitions of hooking up.” Also love how protective he is of Persephone and told his dad — the God of War — to behave.
8. I mean, find you a friend who crashes into your bed, brings you crosswords and word jumbles because you’re a nerd, takes a bite out of your honeycomb, and lets you put on a Minotaur face mask.
I am absolutely that friend who would get everyone I know in a face mask.
