After brunch, Hera heads to her office. Nymphs remark that she hasn’t been there in weeks. While staring at the “Mortal Marriage” board, all she can think about is Apollo.
She decides to build a “body of evidence” that her vision was correct how he harmed Persephone in some way. While she can’t speak with Persephone, she also disregards speaking to Zeus, remembering the other times he brushed aside her concern.
“Why is no such a difficult word for you?”

A deep blue nymph enters with tea, stating she was hired by Zeus as her assistant. As Hera tries to fire her, Apollo barges in. The new assistant steps between Hera and Apollo and indicates he must make an appointment. Hera says she’ll make an exception and that the nymph can take notes.
Hera and Apollo sit down to chat. He claims he and Persephone are in a relationship and presents an application for marriage. Hera laughs and tears up the application, lighting it on fire with her hands. Apollo says she has the wrong impression of him and he’ll prove he’s worthy, fizzing away. Upset, Her drinks the tea and realizes it’s exactly how she likes. The nymph introduces herself as Echo.
Meanwhile, in the mortal realm, Artemis watches some of Demeter’s nymphs from the shadow of the forest with two wolves, who she sets to hunting down Persephone. Zeus appears behind her, asking what or who she is hunting.
