Hecate grabs Minthe’s hand from further harming Hades. She has Tisiphone drag her away as Minthe wants to speak to Hades and apologize to him. Hecate approaches her friend and hugs him.
Hades has a traumatic break and finds himself in Nyx’s domain. She mentions that apparently, he prefers darkness as opposed to facing his feelings. Nyx recalls a memory of seeing him as a child with the same knotted brow he has now and how she almost thought about stealing him away. She sends him back, saying that the “golden traitor” was visiting him.
A startled Hades awakens in his office with Hera watching over him. Hecate had called her and Hades is embarrassed that what happened is now public knowledge. When Hera offers to punish Minthe, he stops her. She offers him a drink, but he’s trying to cut back so she offers him a little drink. He comments that it was odd for her to be there as she’s not the most caring person and was previously angry with him. She’s not apologetic but she is concerned for him. They sit close together and he asks Hera not to hate Minthe because he loves her and she should respect his wishes. He goes on to say that he doesn’t want to be alone anymore and he’s willing to settle as there is a stigma tied to him. Hera disagrees with his choice and claims she didn’t know that he wanted to get married. Hades calls her out on her lie and says that she can’t help him and should respect his wishes.

Hades asks Hera if he looks like Cronus and she replies that only an idiot would say that. She surprises him when she gives him a kiss.
