Background
Apollo is a sun god and pulls Helios around the mortal realm during the day. He is also the god of light, music, oracles, archery and agriculture. Younger twin brother to Artemis, despite being a popular god and being charming, he is also very sexist and rather snobbish and classist towards non-Olympian gods. He is narcissistic and overly confident in his belief that people like him. He is not very considerate and is emotionally manipulative towards his sister and others in order to achieve his goals.
Because he is popular with mortals, Zeus shows him favoritism and allows Apollo to get away with unsanctioned acts of wrath. Zeus sees his younger self in Apollo.
Appearance
Zeus says that Apollo reminds him of a younger self. Apollo, like his sister, is purple with golden eyes that become quite bright when he’s emotional. He is a very popular god and is considered to be very handsome and charismatic.
Family
Apollo is the younger twin of Artemis. In mythology, their parents are Zeus and Leto. However, in Lore Olympus, their parents are unknown.
Relationships
Persephone
The first time Apollo meets Persephone, he was instantly annoyed by how she avoided him and said no to his offer in carrying a bag of rice. He belittled her in his car after Persephone gushed about the night she had in the Underworld. He later pressured her and assaulted her in her bedroom.
Apollo repeatedly tries to talk to Persephone and even attempts to take her out on a date, but Persephone avoided him. This made him more agitated about his relationship with her. On Tuesday morning, he claimed that he has feelings for her and that he wanted to make their relationship official. Persephone showed him his broken lyre, which she stole, and told him to make someone else his Olympian. This distressed Apollo and he accused Hades of manipulating Persephone. He blatantly told Persephone that he doesn’t need her to like him to make her his wife. Their argument escalated and Eros stepped in.
When Persephone saw that Daphne was on a date with Apollo, she became protective of Daphne and told him that she would tell Daphne and Artemis what he did to her. Apollo then blackmailed her with the photos he took of that night.
hermes
Hermes is Apollo’s best friend and roommate. Hermes is somehow aware that Persephone doesn’t like Apollo.
daphne
Apollo is pleased about the attention he’s been getting from Daphne. In Episode 109, he finally took her out on a date.
