Background
Aphrodite is the goddess of Love, Beauty, Pleasure and Procreation. She can be vindictive and petty when slighted, so it’s best to always show her respect.
In Episode 69, it is revealed that Aphrodite had to seduce Zeus in order to keep him from punishing Eros. Thus, she assigns her son to do her bidding with random tasks as a form of punishment for his transgressions with Psyche. Despite wanting to punish Psyche and Eros, she also shows a caring nature towards them and her other children.
Aphrodite pressures Eros into helping incapacitate Persephone and put her in Hades’ car. She later offers advice to Hades and later Persephone when she senses their feelings for each other.
Appearance
If you are wise, you’ll call her the most beautiful goddess while within hearing distance. She is very attractive and wears stylish clothing to flatter her best assets. Like her son Eros, she has a beauty mark near her left eye. She is lilac/lavender in color with matching hair, though her hue can vary slightly depending on her mood. While disguising Psyche as a nymph, her eyes became white and tendrils of light grew around her.
Family
Aphrodite has 8 children: Eros (son), Agape (daughter), Philia (daughter), Storge (son), Ludus (son), Philautia (daughter), Pragma (daughter), and Mania (daughter). Ares is the father of at least one of her children (Eros).
Relationships
Aphrodite is in an open relationship with Ares. In Lore Olympus, she is unmarried. In myths, she is often described as married to the god Hephaestus.
Skills & Abilities
Aphrodite has powerful capabilities to change one’s appearance, as she was able to transform Psyche into resembling a nymph. So far in Lore Olympus, only Hades has recognized that Psyche is a mortal.
Eros and Aphrodite can influence the desire of people who are not virgins.
She can fly and is able to make herself large and intimidating.
